Registration SUC Surfing 2021
Welcome to the registration page for the Swiss Universities Championship (SUC) Surfing 2021. The SUC Surfing is the official surf competition of Swiss University Sports. 32 athletes will compete in the middle of the Valais mountains. In a qualifying round they have the chance to surf to the semifinals.
For students who do not take part in the competition, there are subsidized surfing sessions available, thanks to Alaia and the student organizations.
Date: Thu, 30 September 2021 (Warm Up on 29 September)
Time: 8am - 9pm

Registration fee of CHF85. Often travel expenses and registration fees are supported by the respective university sports organization. The registration fee includes at least one hour of surfing during the competition, lunch, goodie bag and the possibility to win attractive prizes. Participants will also have the opportunity to book discounted rider packages for training purposes!
- Enrolled students from accredited universities and universities of applied sciences that are members of Swiss University Sports OR Swiss nationals who are enrolled at a foreign university OR Exmatriculated students until one year after their graduation or exmatriculation (date of graduation is decisive)
- Capable of surfing the Expert Level in Alaia Bay
- Acceptance of the competition Rrles
- Insurance has to be covered by the participants
Registration opens on 8 July at 12.00 noon. First come, first served applies, provided that level and eligibility are met. After your registration you will receive a confirmation from us. With this confirmation you can register at your university sports organization, which will decide about the financial support. In case of several registrations from your university and too few places, the final decision about the athlete selection lies with the corresponding university sports organization!
Participation is at the participant's own risk and the organiser declines any liability. Insurance is the responsibility of the participants.
